Right off the bat I'll admit to owning a Site Build It (SBI) site that returns a nice little income every month. However, if you're thinking that it's a relaxing walk in the park, think again. It's much more like a sweaty hike up a huge mountainside with a loaded 35 kg pack on your back. Clear as mud? Don't worry, this article will explain further.
Let's start at the beginning. You see, I've had a Site Build It website for about 4 years now, and in that time, I can tell you honestly that out of every 100 SBI sites, only a handful thrive and hit the success that we all dream of. But don't get me wrong... It's not that Site Build It doesn't work. It's more of a case that the owner doesn't put in the required 'sweat effort' to make it work.
And yet, there's really no excuse. You see, Site Build It comes with perhaps the best, friendliest forums on earth, where if you ask nicely you'll always be guaranteed help. So the problem here is not 'lack of knowledge' either. Nor is it 'lack of instruction' because SBI puts out an incredibly comprehensive, step by step roadmap to success. So what is it then?
Well it could be because we're a lazy bunch. We give up on Site Build It (SBI) because we want it all to happen faster, want more money coming in and can't deal with persevering while our website grows and develops. To get around that, you can do things like constantly tweak your site, make gradual improvements, add more content and so on. Do this and you can be sure your SBI site will 'evolve' too.
Of course, there's a lot of other contributing factors to achieving success too. You might have mistakenly chosen the wrong niche, have a non-monetizable site or simply ask the wrong questions!
Whichever it is, the thing to take home here is that sometimes you've got to bite the bullet and ask for advice, ideas and help.
